Many of you know how generous and giving our Chamber Vice-President Tom Martin has been his whole life.
Unfortunately, our Chamber has some bad news to share as Tom was badly injured while doing a job over Labor Day weekend.
While the injuries are extensive and will require many surgeries and many months of rehab, Tom has already amazed many who know him with his Texts or phone calls to us worrying about things like Tavern Day, the Truck-or-Treat and other things that he cares about. (more…)

What a fantastic Tavern Day we had yesterday!
It was sunny (can you believe it???) in the low 80s for temperatures…perfect for a cold beverage, fine food and entertainment both historical and contemporary!
I am a Chamber member as well as the Chamber Secretary, but I also co-chaired the Tavern Day Committee with Lynn Buthe and a bunch of talented people on the Marketing Committee to pull this day off.
But, no matter how hard we all worked and planned and worked…wait, I said that already…there literally would not have been a Tavern Day had our Chamber Members not stepped up and covered most of the operating expenses of the day. The expenses included: (more…)
