Ownership of Borla & Associates LLC., a real estate firm serving Connecticut’s Northwest Corner for over three decades, changed ownership after the passing of long-time real estate broker and industry icon, Annesa Borla in March.
The firm has been purchased by real estate broker and local business-person Jeff Geddes of Thomaston. Geddes, a long-time friend of the Borla family, has over four decades of experience in banking and real estate. He is also active in the community – serving on several Boards and Committees for non-profit organizations throughout Greater Torrington.
Originally founded over three decades ago as Borla, Moore & Hipsky, the firm changed to Borla, Moore & Associates and finally to Borla & Associates, LLC when Annesa Borla’s longtime business partner Linda Moore retired in 2007.
Since acquiring Borla and Associates, Geddes has opened two new offices located at 241 Torrington Rd, Goshen and 280 Spielman Highway, Burlington. The firm has also added one additional agent and has plans to recruit even more agents as they expand their reach into the Farmington Valley.
